Overview
Located just 30 seconds away from Ohama Beach, Shimoda, White Beach Hotel is located on a beach that is considered the best in Japan. This hotel, which has a bar and restaurant is one of the closest to the beach and is capable of catering to all the needs of their guests. Guests can enjoy after-beach showers, have a coffee or cocktail or even have a meal on site. Accommodation
Guests can choose form three types of rooms, which are available at the White Beach Hotel. This includes the traditional Japanese tatami room apart from a queen bed or two single beds. Air conditioning is a standard feature in all rooms along with a small en-suite bathroom. Some rooms also offer limited beach views, which are available on request. The hotel has a limited number of rooms, which helps guests make their stay personal.
Features
The White Beach Hotel has a bar and restaurant that is open everyday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. A spacious wooden desk has also been provided for guests for purposes of relaxing, wining and dining. Wireless internet is available in the main area of the hotel along with washer and dryer facilities. A trampoline is also available but parental supervision is advised for children.
Packages
White Beach Hotel is continuously involved in creating new packages for guests to stay ahead of the competition. A family package, which provides an extra night free, is available upon request, subject to availability. This enables a family to make a booking for the weekend and avail Thursday nights stay free of cost. This package can also be extended to cover for Wednesday for a nominal charge of 50% of the day. Guests can also choose from a golf package that is available.
Tourist Destinations
Located on the North end of Okinawa, Okuma Beach and Recreation Center is about two hours away from the Kadena Air Base and Camp Foster. This is a 135 acre property and is located on a small peninsula with beaches on either side. Okuma Beach is known for its great views from either side of the shores and provides access to facilities such as jet skiing, parasailing and snorkeling. Equipment for these activities can be hired at reasonable rates, thereby eliminating the need to carry the same.
Directions
Guests looking to visit the Okuma Beach and Recreation Center can either use the expressway or the highway to reach the destination. The expressway takes lesser time than the highway, with the difference being around 30 minutes of travel time. Guests are however advised to carry the Japanese Yen, as it is the only method of currency used.
